Great Meeting (October, 26th through 28th, in Sucre, Bolivia)

First meeting of peoples and states for the liberation  of greater latin america (patria grande)

Evo Morales, leader of the new Bolivia, is calling this meeting of popular organizations and citizens of Latin America and the Caribbean in general, in order to democratically set up a REGIONAL BLOCK OF POPULAR POWER (RBPP).

The meeting will be held in the historic city of Sucre, Bolivia, on the 26th, 27th and 28th of the symbolic month of October 2006 

The main subjects of discussion are:

1. Movements of the First Nations.
2. Movements of   rural workers and peasants .
3. The workers movement.
4. The Intellectuals, The economic model of  Greater Latin America and 21st Century Socialism.
5. Formal, social and collective Rights to Life.
6. Self-determination and  military defense of Greater Latin America.
7. Ecological protection of the Pacha Mama (Mother Earth).
8. Participatory regulation of government budgets, self-management, direct democracy, local power.
9. Oil and Gas Geopolitics as tools for liberation.
10. Local Power, participatory budget, self-government and direct democracy.
11. Strategic alliances between State Power and People’s Power for the social, national and regional liberation of Latin America.
